She's only planning to be back in time for a day or so, so if she can't use her own phone she'll probably just borrow one from the people she's working with. (Or, I suppose, she could have one of them twiddle his screwdriver on hers, but she's not going to do that, because she thinks he's a bit rubbish. :P)
But she would actually have training in what to do in this situation, so if it would be possible for her to use hers, she would know.
